Making hand-crafted soap brings me so much joy! I started making cold-process, all natural soap as a creative outlet and a way to minimize purchasing store-bought soaps full of toxins. I’ve been learning about all of the benefits of all-natural, plant-based ingredients and now I’m sharing them here so you too can enjoy the fruits of handmade products that are free from chemicals and give you and your skin the nourishment it deserves!
Hi, I’m Kimberly. I’m an entrepreneur, business consultant, a lover of nature, yoga, bringing people together, lifetime learner, craft beer lover, and believer that this life is a precious one and that we must live it just how we are meant to live it…fulfilled, free, in joy, and doing what matters most to us!
I started making handcrafted soap in early 2021 as a creative outlet and a way to start to delete the toxic-full products/soaps from my routine! I fell in love with learning how to do it and having been making small batches of soap almost weekly since then. I started sharing my soaping journey on social media, and before you know it, people started asking me if I am selling it. Well, I wasn’t planning on it but I love making it, and frankly, my husband and I can’t use it fast enough so here I am…now I offer up my soap at local pop-up markets and sell directly to you!

Why the name – One More Day Soap Co.?
In the midst of the pandemic and the shutdowns in 2020 and 2021 and working around the clock to save our craft-beer taphouse business, my husband and I (we co-own and operate it together) found ourselves in such need of “One More Day” for ourselves, to relax, to do things that bring us joy, and to calm our brains/hearts and our nervous systems from the stress and uncertainty of the future. We would have a few days off a week to decompress and yet it still never seemed to be enough. We were so depleted of nourishment of the things that make life full and joyful and from taking the time to just ‘be’ that we always had this sense of needing One More Day to rest, rejuvenate, be creative, and find the joy amongst the mess.
Now, I know, these last few years have been a LOT for all of us. Maybe you can relate? But ya know, I’ve experienced moments, seasons in life like this before….even outside of pandemic times. Grinding, getting caught up in the day-to-day of life….and forgetting about taking care of myself…

I wanted to name my soaping company One More Day to remind myself and to remind you that you DESERVE rest, peace, rejuvenation, calmness, joy, and to nourish yourself! It’s a metaphor really and a REMINDER. To slow down. To come back home to yourself and what you need to feel good and present and peaceful! I believe this life, our society, and the constant nature of going, going, going has us ALL forgetting to take care of ourselves, our minds, our hearts, our bodies, and our souls at times.
So I encourage you to take this fresh soap, this handcrafted creation that I’ve made for you, and nourish your skin, take deep breathes in the shower, take in the pleasant scents, and remember that you my dear friend deserve to take care of yourself, you deserve time to do the things that bring you joy and peace, you are here to feel good, you are here to be YOU-all of you-the good and the messy; and you deserve to be surrounded by beauty, love, nature, and pure, positive things that make this life worth living.
